Beauty in Symmetry? – Inspiring Calgary Portrait Photography

It’s been said there is beauty in symmetry, an aesthetic pronouncement rooted in our bilaterian biology. Australian artist Julian Wolkenstein explores this idea in his project echoism. His symmetrical portraits create two hybrid faces – based on each mirrored half. The results can be startling.
